TITLE: CHRIST WAS JEWISH AND THE RELIGION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT WAS JUDAISM
OVERVIEW:
Many groups have emerged recently attempting to "re-write" history about who/what Christ and the "early Christians" were. These "make-overs" range from depicting Christ as purely a "symbol" for the "sun" and the early "Christians" in reality being "Gnostics", to various "Church groups" disconnecting Christ and the "New Testament" from it's historical context to advance their own particular "theologies". The study below will clearly show, "Christ" was not a "symbol" for the "sun". He was not starting a "new religion". And both him and his followers were "Jewish" (and their religion) was "Judaism". (Precisely as has always been known)
Christ's religion was reformed [Heb_9:10] Judaism.[Joh_4:22 ] The central rite of his "new covenant" was re-institution of the domestic Passover.[Luk_22:15,Joh_13:1]. The controversy in Galatians was over the requirement of adult male circumcision (in addition to Mikvah [i.e. Baptism]) before partaking in Passover. [a controversy only relevant to Judaism] None of this matters however as Rome murdered his entire family, all his followers, destroyed their religion, and replaced it with what is now known as "Roman Catholicism". (A syncretisitic religious practice that had been known since New Testament times, as "Nicolaitanism"). Unfortunate developments which were prophesied to inevitably come, by Christ, John and Paul in the New Testament.
CHRIST'S "JEWISH" THEOLOGY
SALVATION IS OF "JUDAISM"
TAUGHT THE "SHEMA" IS THE "GREATEST COMMANDMENT"

CHRIST "COMES TO THE TEMPLE" AT HANNUKAH

HANNUKAH WAS THE TIME FOR MARRIAGES
Marriages were held during Hannukah because this festival was a CIVIL/STATE MEMORIAL DAY (Like the modern Holocaust Memorial Day), not a TORAH SACRED HOLY DAY. And while work and business was casually suspended, no Sabbatical requirements were manditory, meaning Jews had the time off from work, but could plan events like getting married and holding wedding parties.
