THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

 
 
The familiar sloganeering that invokes the claim that "Jesus" is  "The Reason For The Season" is simply completely false. It may be one's personal intent to make it that way, to personally believe that it is, but in every way that those words are meaningful (other than personal subjectivity), the slogan fails, and is factually false. It is false on a historical level. It is false on a theological level. It is false on an economic level. It is false on a sociological level. It is false on a political level. It is false on a eschatological level. And it is false on a Biblical level. In all these ways, it is simply false.
So what's the purpose of it? PR? Deception? Self-delusion? Those motivations would be different based on the individuals that invoke it. But factually and objectively, it is another false claim from "Christmas" propagandists. These are the "same" propagandists that promote the idea religious "lying" to your children is "good" despite what the Scriptures, and the prophets and apostles, have all very clearly said about it, no matter who you do it too. The propaganda claim is once again, an open exercise in blatant "opposite-speak". "Jesus" had nothing to do with "Christmas", factually speaking. He neither did it, or taught it.  (That's the simple and factual "truth")
 

THE REASON FOR THE SEASON IN HISTORY

 
 

Historically speaking, the claim that "Jesus is the REASON for the Season", is shamefully dishonest. There is not much "controversy" or "debate" among secular historians and secular scholars, as to where or why, there is this "season".  The "season" was the time of year to worship the birth of the Sun. All across the ancient world, from Asia, to Africa, to Europe, even to the western Hemisphere in the Americas, the world's polytheistic culture ritualized and gathered to worship the birth of the Sun. This fact was actually the basis of the legal defense, for the institution of it into Federal law and keeping it that way, despite it's religious conflict with the first Amendment of the US Constitution.


So ironically, based on that very argument, if "Jesus" really was "The Reason for the Season", it would have been an indefensible violation of the first Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

And to make matters worse for "Christians", this deity was precisely what the New Testament authors, were clearly and unashamedly calling "Satan". (Rev.9:11)


If you had told them you were going to call it "Christ" and participate in the worship ritual anyway, they would have called you a very ugly name. Because that is what they actually did. (Rev.2:6,15)

THE "REASON FOR THE SEASON" IN BIBLICAL THEOLOGY

 

THE REASON IS SATAN

Three Biblically epic periods, are used to describe the foundational formation of global polytheism. (Also referred to as "the WAY of the GENTILES").  Those three epics are (1) the Genesis "Gan Eden" story, (2) the Genesis "Nephilim" story and (3) the Genesis "Tower of Babel" story.

The "Gan Eden" narrative mention three universal common motifs found throughout the entire ancient world as central "icons" within it's global "polytheism". (1) The "Tree of Knowledge" (referenced by a variety of different titles, "world tree","spirit tree", "medicine tree") (2) The Serpent (variations include a wide range of different kinds of serpents, both literal and mythological)   (3) and "Enlightenment" (achievement / realization of "self-deification"). 

"Enlightenment" was also consistently associated with "the Sun". In fact, these three items are all directly related to "the Sun" and these  three elements can be found all over the world, within ancient polytheism, in common.

How are they all related to the "Sun"?  "Serpents" come out, in "the Sun".  They also routinely wrap themselves in the branches of trees. (Thus the serpentine shape of ancient "tree wrappings", duplicated in "tinsel" today), and in the Biblical story, the genus of tree being referred to as the "Tree of knowledge" was a "fig tree". Most people do not know however, that "fig trees" are also "evergreen" trees.  And the sap of many genus of "Fig Trees" are PHOTOTOXIC.   That means when it is "exposed" to the "Sun", it becomes a "poison" that can even "kill" if ingested.  More will be discussed about this in the section on "The Tree".

Rituals which enacted VENERATION of "The Tree" which Genesis interpreted as "The Tree of Knowledge", or the "Serpent's Tree" or the "Tree of Damnation", occurred  all over the world, and throughout history. It was both an intrinsic part of the enactment of "Enlightenment" and the "Serpent", but it was also assimilated as part of local "cultures" all over the world, including ancient Egypt, where Moses had been indoctrinated in their teachings.

 

THE REASON IS THE "TREE OF KNOWLEDGE"

Veneration of the "Tree of Knowledge", the "Serpent" and "Enlightenment" are found all over the world.  The book of Genesis critiques this religious system as a "Deception" rather than "Enlightenment", and the "Serpent" as "Satan" (the Adversary).  And it's promise of "Self-deification" as separation from the one true creator-God, and thus "eternal damnation".


The "Tree of Damnation" is still "venerated", all over the world, to this day, both openly in religious systems, and covertly in esoteric western occultism.

 

THE REASON IS THE "NEPHILIM"

GENESIS 6:4


There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. - KJV


The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore to them; they were THE HEROES (idolized, the Idols) which existed from ancient time, the men of name. -Paraphrase

 

 

THE REASON IS THE "TOWER OF BABEL"

Throughout the Scriptures, Biblical authors warn that polytheism's theology of "Self-deification" resulted in the individual, experiencing a "switch" in cognitive definitions, of what was perceived as "God" and what was perceived as "Satan".  This "reverse polarity" not only caused the individual to be permanently "cut off" from God because of "blasphemy", it also caused "the opposite" to manifest "spiritually" in the earth, in their experience. In other words, (i.e., Curse themselves).

Gen 11:3,4

And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and A TOWER, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make ourselves a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 

 

Gen 11:7-9 

Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.  Therefore is the name of it called Babel; 

To make matters worse, the Shepherd of Hermes, an "esoteric revelation" written by the brother of the Pope, and read as scripture in Rome, identified the "tower of Babel" as "the Church" (to be emulated).  Thus it's "mysteries" were to be "incorporated".


Historians and researchers have traced our modern "Christmas" through Rome to ancient Persia's "Yalda" celebration. (Which in turn came from ancient Babylon)


THE BIRTH OF THE SUN-GOD OF BABYLON

(PERSIA'S "SHAB-E YALDA" -  ORIGIN OF "CHRISTMAS")


"The Persians adopted their annual renewal festival from the Babylonians and incorporated it into the rituals of their own Zoroastrian religion. The last day of the Persian month Azar is the longest night of the year, when the forces of Ahriman are assumed to be at the peak of their strength. While the next day, the first day of the month "Day" known as "khoram rooz" or "khore rooz" (the day of sun) belongs to Ahura Mazda, the Lord of Wisdom. Since the days are getting longer and the nights shorter, this day marks the victory of Sun over the darkness. The occasion was celebrated in the festival of "Daygan" dedicated to Ahura Mazda, on the first day of the month "Day"  - YALDA SHAB-E CHELEH SHAB-E YALDA

 

Because Latin theologians adopted a "theological framework" that literally switched theological "north" and "south", instead of pulling people out of "the WAY of the Gentiles", they actually adopted the "WAY of the Gentiles" as their "north star".  This is why the "Birth of the SUN", became the "birth of their CHRIST". It was the adaptation of the SUN of God (from Babylon) as "Christ".


As a result of this "switch", a great deal of Roman Catholic ecclesiastical worship ritual and "iconography" (including "Christ-Mass") is actually centered around "the SUN". (And this is why)

 
 

"SUN" WORSHIP IS NOT A "MINOR" PROBLEM

Because the "Biblical" religious belief system was formed in contradistinction to this "WAY of the Gentiles", it repeatedly interacts with "SUN" worship throughout the stories contained in it's chapters, which range in time from thousands of years BC, into the first century AD. (A record of theological criticism and condemnation that span thousands of years) and is found present in virtually every episode.

When right-wing religious conservative Christmas "Apollo-gists" work to "white-wash" this information, they must literally scrub virtually every major "episode" contained in the Bible. (Which they literally do not mind doing)

But the result is a vast "distortion" or "corruption" of things which are "clearly" taught in the Scriptures, concerning the "assimilation of Sun worship" (not meaning, the "worship OF the SUN", but WORSHIP that "assimilates" practices and rituals associated with/coming from,"SUN" worship.

Faithless Jews who "assimilated" these practices, always "claimed" they were worshiping Yahweh. The Old Testament Prophets, and later the New Testament Apostles however, were very unforgiving in how they responded to those claims. (i.e., they were not "tolerated"). In fact, in all instances they equated "the error" with unconditional pronunciations of "divine judgement" and "damnation". Precisely as had Moses, from the beginning. (Regardless of the personal moral characters of the people doing it)  Meaning they might have been "excellent" people in all other respects. But this "error" was serious enough on it's own, to solicit God's "judgement" and "damnation".

That is precisely why, ancient "Jews" familiar with these condemnations, considered the "Gentiles" to be "lost".  And "The WAY of the Gentiles" to be what had "damned" them, spiritually.(Chiefly speaking, the worship of "the SUN" as god) as originally condemned by Moses in the Torah.
 

EVEN FOR "MODERN" SOCIETY

In modern society, "religion" in general has so discredited itself the world over, that only in very backward places on earth, are "religious views" still taken with any seriousness. So if in a previous age, Prophets or Gurus or Apostles or Sages, condemned one action or another as "damnable", modern audiences are aware their world views had very limited information about the world, reality, the cosmos, the universe, science or physics. So their ancient "pronouncements" are to be taken "with a modern grain of salt".

But in categorically "dismissing" everything, or "reducing" everything to simply "metaphor", some important "truths" can be "lost" in the process. Those doing the "reductions", have to actually know what they are "reducing", and that is not always the case. 

In some cases, there were very true and very legitimate reasons that those ancient "Prophets" were condemning "SUN" worship. (And it was not all just a "result of ignorance")  It was rather, a result of "logic".  The term "Theological" is a conjunction of two words, "Theo" (which means "God") and "LOGICAL" (which means "characterized by sound reasoning")  But if you don't even have a "clue" what those "sound reasoning" might have been, you certainly cannot provide a "modern reduction" of them, that does them "justice". And the vast portion of modern society today, is effectively "clueless".

Our modern cultural ignorance of the past, is not corrected by degrees from modern universities, that simply incessantly repeat the same erroneous reductions, over and over, ad infinitum. (Increasing the "repetition" of hearing the same wrong thing, over and over, does nothing to improve your "understanding" or "education" of it)

The ancient "logic" was largely "phenomenological", but it was still "logic" nonetheless. And it was based on a "phenomena". But if you do not know what that "phenomena" even is, it would be naturally impossible to understand the "logic" concerning it. And this is where the modern academic is "lost", and subject to the plague of the deadly combination of "ignorance" and "arrogance", despite the accumulation of academic "words" in their vocabulary to talk about it.

Ignorance on it's own, can be overcome through self-awareness, when ignorance realizes it is in a state of ignorance concerning something, and makes efforts to change the condition.  Arrogance on it's own, can be overcome, when it seeks more information, even if for arrogant motivations. But when there is a combination of "arrogance" and "ignorance", all real learning will forever after cease.

There is vast difference between knowing how to swim, or the experience of swimming, and having an advanced degree in "hydrodynamics". A Ph.D. in "hydrodynamics" who has never learned to "swim", cannot really teach "swimming". Because the "phenomenology" (or experience) of "swimming" is a foreign concept. This is the problem with the modern academic in Theology, and some of their very "speculative" reductions.(Which can miss the entire point of the "Phenomenology") And from where many references in theological literature (including the Scriptures) are actually sourced and derived.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

If you worship THE SUN, then that is what you will GET.
